The Aalborg model
When you start at Aalborg University you will learn to work with
information in quite a new way. The study method is based on
problem-based project work in groups, typically with four to seven
students, combined with lectures. The groups are formed each semester,
and are, among other things, combined according to professional
interests and personal sympathies. Each group gets a group room,
where the students can work with their projects.
The advantage of the group work is, for one thing, that
through co-operation and division of work it gives the students
possibilities to work with larger problem complexes than would
normally be possible
for one person.
Concurrently with the project work in the groups, the students have
lectures that support the project work and create the basis for
their further studies. |
